The villa is an imposing stone-built farmhouse, ideally set in the gorgeous framework of Tuscan rolling hills, with enchanting views on vineyards and olive groves. The shaded outdoor eating area is ideal fro dining ‘al fresco’. The furnished veranda provides the perfect spot from which to relax from dusk till down. The interiors are comfortably furnished, and both the large sitting room and the dining room open, via French doors, to the front garden and to the outdoor dining area.

The Village of Radda in Chianti is a delightful medieval village set high on a hill which preserves its original charm with narrow streets and defensive walls. Being right in the heart of Chianti Classico, it is also within short drive from Siena (35 km away), Florence as several other interesting sites.

The area is also internationally renowned for its wines, and there are several wine cellars that can be visited in the surroundings. Among all a special mention goes to the “Cantina Antinori”, almost a temple devoted to wine. Further than representing six centuries of history carried on by one of the most ancient Florentine families, it is an architectural masterpiece inspired by nature, without being obtrusive on the landscape. The cellars also include a restaurant, and the whole structure certainly deserves a visit.
