Situated in an idyllic location on an oil producing estate – Villa Valerie is a magnificent villa which originally dates back to the 16th century. The property offers a high standard of accommodation and even boasts its own chapel and ballroom. There is an English speaking manager on site who offers a truly personal service and an unrivalled attention to detail. The nearest village is only 700 metres away where you will find grocery shops and local trattorias. In our opinion – Villa Valerie is one of Tuscany’s finest villas which offers excellent amenities such as a fenced pool which can be heated upon request, partial air-con and wifi. Beaches within 40km and Pisa airport 33km.

We were absolutely delighted when we visited this villa. The setting is idyllic, the standard of accommodation very high and the service locally unrivalled. There is an English speaking manager on site and there is a direct intercom from the villa to the manager. The attention to detail from the careful owners and the estate manager is excellent. The estate produces olive oil and various jams which are available to buy.

Situated less than 1 Km from the village of Ponte a Moriano and only 10km from Lucca city centre. It is possible to cycle into Lucca along the river path and even on into Pisa for the keen cyclists! public Tennis course are also situated only 1 Km away in the village

Main House

Ground Floor – Entrance hall, 2 guest bathrooms, large fully-equipped kitchen, dining room seating up to 25 people, sitting room, music/TV room, reading room/study, pantry, chapel accessed externally.

First Floor – Ballroom, 2 double bedrooms both en-suite, one has a comfortable sitting room before the bedroom, tea and coffee station with mini fridge.

Second Floor – 3 en-suite twin bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom* sharing a bathroom with 1 twin bedroom, 3 twin and 1 triple bedroom* sharing 2 bathrooms, tea and coffee station with mini fridge.

*Please note that the triple rooms are only suitable for children.

Notes:

A metal grid has been put just below the surface of the water in the fountain to improve child safety.

The ballroom’s balcony is not fully childproofed. The door to the balcony can be locked with a padlock. We recommend children, especially those under six years old, are supervised by an adult and not left alone in this room.

Lucca, in Northern Tuscany, is an excellent location as you are close to Pisa airport and can experience both the countryside and coast of Tuscany. A pleasant train ride or boat trip will take you to the Cinqueterre, in Liguria, and Florence is easily accessible. The ideal location for guests who want to see as much as possible without having to travel too far.
