We have English-speaking agents on the ground so that, so that should anything happen, you can turn to a familiar party.

In some cases, we can also negotiate a discount on your behalf, particularly if you are booking a long stay of several weeks or travelling out of peak season.

Do you visit every villa on your website?

We have visited the majority of the villas featured on our site, and for those we haven’t, they have been personally verified through glowing feedback from our customers and come from trusted partners we have worked with for many years.

Can I hold a property?

Please contact us If you are interested in a certain property and would like to hold it for 48 hours (no obligation). This can be useful when looking in to travel arrangements etcr.

How do I book a villa with Idyllic Italy?

Please contact us by email [email protected] or call us on 0044 (0) 161 787 8587 with your villa requirements.  We know each property well and we are always happy to talk things through with you and help you choose a property that best matches your needs and priorities.  We will send you available properties to suit your requirements.  When you are ready to book we require a 35% non refundable deposit and the balance will be due 28 days prior to arrival

Can I pay by credit card and will I be charged a card supplement?

Yes you can pay by credit card and no you will not pay a credit card supplement

Can I pay in Euro?

We accept Euro payments by Bank transfer. We apply the exchange rate provided by our bank,  on the day payment is made. We will issue your booking confirmation and a receipted invoice upon receipt of payment. Your balance must be paid in the same currency as your deposit.

What is included in the cost of the weekly rental?

When is the best time to visit Italy?

SPRINGTIME IN ITALY April,May &June are the perefect months to visit. There are fewer tourists so sightseeing is a pleasure.The weather is warm and pleasant, days are long and the scent of jasmine and roses fragrance the air.

SUMMERTIME IN ITALY July & August are the most vibrant months when even the sleepiest village comes alive. Italians generally head for the sea at this time of year. August 15 is a National Holiday.

AUTUMN IN ITALY Autumn is a tranquil season and the ideal time to discover towns and the countryside, mellow with tones of russet and ochre with fields of ripened grapes ready to be harvested. Autumn sun-seekers need to head south of Rome to be assured of warm weather.

WINTERTIME IN ITALY Winter is usually crisp, mild, bright and can be a delightfully relaxing time to explore

Is Car hire essential and can Idyllic Italy organise my car hire?

It depends on the location of your chosen holiday rental. Some properties are within easy reach of the airport and walking distance to local amenities and therefore a car isn’t necessary. Other properties however are often in rural locations which cannot be reached by public transport. We can advise you on popular car hire companies in Italy but we cannot make the booking for you

What does Idyllic Italy consider as walking distance?

Please check the description for your individual property. Generally we consider walking distance to towns and restaurants to be around 1 Kilometer, unless otherwise stated.

DRIVING TO ITALY . More and more people are choosing to drive to Italy. Taking your own car adds flexibility to your holiday. You can avoid stressful airport queues and luggage restrictions as well as enjoy a leisurely drive at a pace that suits your, through some of Europe’s most stunning scenery with an overnight stop en-route.

Are you bonded?

No, we are not bonded because we do not sell package holidays or offer any travel arrangements beyond accommodation. As an accommodation-only specialist, bonding is not a requirement.

However, for your peace of mind, you can pay by credit card, which provides financial protection under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act.
