Villa Camaiore perches on the top of a hill, yet is ideally located just 10 minutes from the sandy beaches of Pietrasanta and Forte dei Marmi. Originally a medieval fortress, this unique property has been lovingly restored to offer stylish accommodation with modern amenities, including air conditioning, while retaining its historic character and charm.
Situated on a hillside within the picturesque village of Monteggiori, near Camaiore in the Province of Lucca, the villa enjoys panoramic mountain and sea views from its elevated position within the Tuscan hills. The pretty, traditional village setting places guests within walking distance of two local trattorias, while Pisa Airport is approximately 30 minutes away and Florence can be reached in around one hour. The vibrant town of Pietrasanta is also just a 10-minute drive away.
Guests park in a private garage approximately 300 metres from the villa and are then transferred directly to the property entrance by a dedicated vehicle.
The main house features a large living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom and a laundry room on the ground floor. The first floor comprises two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. One bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, while the other features an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Adjacent to the main house is a separate annexe comprising a dining room with a kitchenette equipped with an induction cooktop, a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower.
Outside, the villa is surrounded by gardens arranged across different levels, with terraces providing wonderful spots for outdoor dining and enjoying the surrounding views. The private swimming pool measures 4m x 8m with a constant depth of 1.20m and is heated to 28°C. The pool uses a salt-water depuration system and is open from 1 May to 31 October. A sun terrace provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful Tuscan setting.
Amenities include internet access, SAT-TV, air conditioning and a black coffee percolator.
Please note that Villa Camaiore accommodates up to 6 guests and is best suited to adults, as the property's layout and stairs may not be ideal for children or elderly guests.
