Villa Tempestini

Villa Tempestini is a luxury eighteenth-century Tuscan villa with a private pool, ideal for families or groups of friends (accommodating 15–19 people). Set on the western slopes of Mount Albano at around 250 metres above sea level, it enjoys a peaceful position surrounded by olive groves, chestnut and oak woods, and the rolling hills of Tuscany.

Originally made up of two adjoining farmhouses, Villa Tempestini was later united into a single residence, though it can still be separated into two independent parts during the winter months if required. The exterior stone walls retain the villa’s authentic character, typical of the region’s rural architecture.

For nearly fifty years, the owners have carefully furnished the villa with fine antiques collected from dealers, auctions, and fairs. Throughout the house, you’ll find elegant Empire wardrobes, Liberty mirrors, a 17th-century Florentine plaque, and a perfectly maintained early 20th-century billiard table. The interiors are complemented by antique prints, maps, and Tuscan terracotta pieces, creating an atmosphere that is both refined and welcoming.

The villa sits in a tranquil yet convenient location, offering easy access to Florence (35 minutes), Lucca (25 minutes), Pisa (45 minutes), and the Tuscan coast (45 minutes). The nearby spa towns of Montecatini Terme (5 km) and Monsummano Terme (2 km) offer restaurants, shops, and train connections to Florence and Pisa, making Villa Tempestini a perfect base for exploring Tuscany.

ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES

Villa Tempestini offers elegant, spacious interiors combining antique charm with modern comforts. Multiple lounge areas provide plenty of space to relax, including rooms with comfortable sofas, a piano, an electric piano, and three fireplaces (one double-sided and working).

All bedrooms feature king-sized beds, mosquito screens, air conditioning, and heating. Each bathroom includes a courtesy line with shower gel, hand soap, and body cream.

The kitchen is fully equipped with:

POOL INFORMATION

The infinity pool (6 × 12 m, depth 1.40 m) is for the exclusive use of Villa Tempestini guests. Positioned on a natural terrace just below the villa, it offers stunning views across the valley and Tuscan hills.

The pool features a hydromassage area, a modern filtration system for maximum hygiene, and an automatic pH and chlorine regulation system. Beneath the pool there is a changing room with shower and WC.

A large sunbathing terrace surrounds the pool, furnished with umbrellas, tables, and sunbeds. Nearby, a gazebo with seating offers a shaded place to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting.

The pool is open from mid-April to mid-October, depending on weather conditions.

Saturday. Arrival: from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Departure: by 10:00 am

Security Deposit (against breakages, etc.) Payable in cash upon arrival:: €800
Final Cleaning; €450 to be paid on arrival
(Includes 3 hours of midweek cleaning on Wednesday afternoon)
 
Tourist Tax: €2.00 per person per day for the first 7 days (Children under 12 are exempt)

Electricity, Air Conditioning and Heating is metreed and payable according to consumption.
Air conditioning: €0.90 per kW (1 kW = 3 Frigocalories)
Heating: €0.19 per Thermal kW (diesel fuel)

Consumption depends on: Outdoor temperature, Preferred indoor temperature, Doors/windows being open or closed, Use of the system while away
