Villa Valerie sits on an oil-producing estate amidst olive groves. Dating back to the 16th century, this elegant Tuscan manor house is ideally located only 700 metres from the village of Ponte a Moriano and just 10 km from the walled city of Lucca. The property combines an authetic Tuscan base with modern comforts, including partial air-conditioning, a heated fenced pool, children’s playground, pizza oven, and Wi-Fi. For cyclists, it is possible to cycle directly into Lucca along the scenic river path
The English-speaking estate managers, David and Silvia, offer a thoughtful service and are on hand should you need anything during your stay. ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES
Ground Floor – Entrance hall, 2 guest bathrooms, large fully-equipped kitchen, dining room seating up to 25 people, sitting room, music/TV room, reading room/study, pantry, chapel accessed externally.
First Floor – Ballroom, 2 double bedrooms both en-suite, one has a comfortable sitting room before the bedroom, tea and coffee station with mini fridge.
Second Floor – 3 en-suite twin bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom* sharing a bathroom with 1 twin bedroom, 3 twin and 1 triple bedroom* sharing 2 bathrooms, tea and coffee station with mini fridge.
*Please note that the triple rooms are only suitable for children.
Notes: A metal grid has been put just below the surface of the water in the fountain to improve child safety. The ballroom’s balcony is not fully childproofed. The door to the balcony can be locked with a padlock. We recommend children, especially those are supervised by an adult and not left alone in this room.
SWIMMING POOL AND OUTDOOR SPACES
The private fenced swimming pool can be heated upon request at additional cost. Surrounding the pool are sun loungers, shaded areas, landscaped gardens, and a children’s playground. A traditional pizza oven is also available for al fresco dining.

Electricity, gas, water, garden maintenance, swimming pool maintenance, bed linen changed on Saturdays, bath and pool towels changed on Saturdays, welcome food basket including water, milk, tea, coffee, bread, butter, sugar, salt and pepper, estate-produced olive oil, a bottle of wine, fresh fruit and vegetables in season, final cleaning, internet, mid-week maid service (3 maids for 2 hours at the villa), David and Silvia on hand to assist as needed.

Extra maid service €18 per hour per maid, telephone and fax as per consumption, pool heating (electric) €50 per day, central heating as per consumption (estimate available on request), air conditioning as per consumption (approx. €100 per day based on maximum usage in hot weather), full linen change including towels €29 per person.
